I have truly enjoyed this past year of blogging on Creative Opera, but it seems it may be time to re-prioritize.

There have been a lot of complaints about the upcoming Apple iPad. Although a few of the criticisms have some merit, many are nit-picky and even borderline ridiculous. How about waiting until after a gadget has been released before tearing it down?

I was surprised and flattered when Erika Martinez from MonaEve Design Farm asked me to do an interview for her blog. If you have ever wanted to know more about me and my thoughts on design, this interview is a great place to start.

I’ve started a Flickr Group for Creative Opera readers to share their photos, drawings, illustrations, designs, and layouts. Any type of artwork is welcome, and all submissions will be displayed in the Creative Opera sidebar!

I couldn’t be more excited! Creative Opera has been featured on Designers who Blog, an amazing website showcasing blogs from all areas of design. I hope you’ll stop by and check it out, as well as take a look at some of the other terrific blogs showcased there.
