Welcome to Creative Opera! My name is Manda Szewczyk (formerly Manda Satkoski) and I had to learn WordPress for a project I am working on. I figured that I might as well test it out on my own website, and since it seems to be up and running, I thought I should just go ahead and start a blog.
I’m not going to be teaching entire design programs through extensive tutorials or answering the great questions of time. I will also not be rambling on about my personal life or boring you with long stories about my beloved dogs (although those of you who know me have heard plenty of dog stories).
I used to teach graphic design, and I have to admit, I miss it. So, I wanted to start a website for the new designers out there. I’m hoping that Creative Opera will be a place where designers can come for helpful information, creative inspiration, and advice from fellow creatives. In addition, I am hoping that experienced designers will feel free to stop by and toss some creative wisdom our way.
I hope that you enjoy your stay at Creative Opera, and look forward to hearing what you have to say!

Thanks so much Mr. Stanley! It really means a lot to me that you’re proud of me. You’re still the best boss I’ve ever had, and one of the best teachers I’ve ever known.
I was a former student of yours, you may or may not remember. I also did some work on your (hopefully) former vehicle. Good to see you doing well!
