I just couldn’t get enough of Smashing Magazine this week! They hit another home run with this detailed article: 8 Simple Ways to Improve Typography In Your Designs. Full of useful advice for any level print- or web-designer, this article describes how you can improve your layouts by giving your typography the attention it deserves.
Naldz Graphics put together an extensive list of web design layout tutorials: 44 Must Learn Web Design Layout Tutorials in Photoshop. These step-by-step tutorials may not go into the details of transferring the designs into html, css, or php, but they are a great jumping-off point for any web designer looking for layout inspiration.
